Fixation are very pleased to say that we are the first company to have available for rent Profoto's new B3 battery packs.  For those of you have used Profoto's B2 pack, then the main difference is that these new packs are powered by a new lithium battery that offers 50% increase in the number of flashes, a reduction in weight and better performance in low temperatures. If you have not used Profoto's previous battery packs, then these are the battery packs that have the fastest recycling and best capacity of any battery pack currently available. This 1200j pack will recycle after firing at full power in 1.8 seconds allowing you to get the sort of performance from a battery pack that you would expect from a studio pack.

 

We have also recently added to our rental stock Profoto's Pro-8 generators in both 1200j and 2400j capacities. These packs are the fastest recycling packs; the 2400j pack will recycle in less than a second. Like all Profoto packs, they use switches to control the power which is much quicker and easier than pressing buttons. Profoto packs are all about speed and ease of use.
