Canon Eos1DmkIII Focus Modification

Work by Canon to modify the known issue with the AI Servo AF mode on the Eos1DmkIII is progressing well through the Elstree Service Centre.  
 
If you have an Eos1DmkIII and want to check if your camera falls within the batches which require modification, or if you have experienced focus issues, you should visit https://self-service.canon-europe.com/uk/pages/ then select Cameras/Digital SLR/Eos1DmkIII to read the announcement.
You should then contact Canon Technical support on 08705 143723 to register your equipment. Canon will then contact you with an appointment to collect your camera, perform the modification within the shortest possible time-scale, and return the equipment to you at Canon’s cost.  
 
Customers who purchased their Eos1DmkIII from Fixation may contact us when they have their modification appointment. Strictly subject to availability, we may be able to offer a substitute loan unit (usually Eos1DmkIIN) during the period of repair.
