The Nikon D4 has been announced! It will be available in February! Get your order booked now!

The D4 replaces the fantastic D3s which was released in 2009 and has been a professional stalwart for the last 3 years.

Nikon’s full frame FX format has been at the heart of an awe inspiring family of cameras ever since Nikon first released the D3 five years ago.

Exceptional low light performance has been the key to the success of the D3, D3s and the D700 making Nikon the choice for photojournalists, music photographers, and wedding photographers. The cameras have been around the world countless times

The D3s was also Nikon’s first full-frame HD DSLR camera and was supported by Nikon’s own ME-1 external stereo microphone. This made Nikon photographers able to reproduce the cinematic video quality made popular by the Canon EOS 5D mk II

The D4 has upped the game, it’s new sensor carries 16.2 million pixels and is coupled with the latest design EXPEED 3 image processor to deliver fantastic low light performance at the new top expansion of 204,800 ISO

Nikon’s pro-body 51 point Autofocus system has been re-designed for greater tracking accuracy and face detection autofocus that has been highly acclaimed on recent consumer models.

Kevlar & Carbon fibre composite has been used in a new shutter with a lifecycle of 400,000 releases. The shutter speed ranges from 30sec to 1/8000th sec.
Flash synchronisation at 1/250th sec.

Mixed media professionals will marvel at the flexibility of the D4. It’s multimedia options include:
 - 1080p HD video shooting at full frame, 1.5x and 2.7x crop modes for a range of shooting styles.
 - High-fidelity audio can be controlled with audio levels that can be set and monitored on the camera’s LCD screen. And a Stereo headphone jack allows you to monitor your audio on location.
 - Time lapse shooting can be rendered to video in camera for faster workflows.
