r About Louise Murray
Louise Murray is a photojournalist and writer with a passion for natural history, and especially the Arctic. A self-confessed ‘polar nut’ she is extremely knowledgable about the Arctic environment both above and below water, and about its wildlife, from the microscopic to the polar-bear.

She has been a photographer and writer since 1992, writing on science and conservation for The Times, The Guardian, BBC Wildlife and Focus, amongst others. Her photography specialises in the marine environment (she is a highly skilled underwater photographer) from the tropics to the polar regions, as well as extreme adventure travel, nature and science. Latterly, Louise has become involved in leading photography travel groups to her favourite regions to communicate her passion and demonstrate her craft.

Louise has been a customer of Fixation since the company’s earliest days, and uses Nikon equipment.

“Phoning Barry at Fixation from a remote beach or an isolated boat with a desperate plea for help mending a disaster has happened on more than one occasion! He’s never let me down, and I can’t speak highly enough of the friendly support I get from Fixation”
