Roger Hooper is a photographer who is passionate about wildlife and the environment. He has photographed many extraordinary aspects of our planet and sees photography as a way of informing others of the frailty of the world around us.

Roger has a strong association with WWF; he has photographed a number of their projects and his work has appeared in several WWF publications. Robert Napier, former WWF CEO in the UK has said: “Roger Hooper's images...remind us of the beauty and fragility of forests and the creatures and people who depend on them for survival”. He has published two books Dotted Plains-Spotted Game (2005) and Art in the Wild (2009), (both Esmonde Publishing).

Through his love of and affiliation with not just the wildlife, but also the peoples of Kenya, Roger has set up a charity, Hoopers Africa Trust, to help educate children there who would otherwise not have the opportunity. He also founded Hoopers Gallery in London in 2003, now an important commercial gallery promoting fine art photography.

Roger says; “The environments in which I often find myself can be extremely testing on my camera equipment, so it's very reassuring to know that Mike, Paula and the team at Fixation are always on hand to get it back in good working order in no time... I have not found such an excellent and professional service anywhere else.”

Roger uses Canon equipment.
