One of our most popular services is the cleaning of Digital SLR sensors, which by their nature attract dust which can show up on your images. For detailed information, please download our sensor cleaning leaflet here.
If you bring your camera to us for sensor cleaning while you wait, you should expect this to take around 25-45 minutes, depending how difficult the clean is. We can do this at any time EXCEPT during the workshop lunch period between 1-2pm, so you will need to get here BEFORE 12.30 or AFTER 2pm. Please also note that we close the store at 5.30pm Monday - Thursday and 4.30pm Friday’s so please get here at least a half hour before.
You do not need to book for 1.6x and 1.3x size sensors, and for the time being, we are still cleaning Nikon D3 and D700 sensors whilst customers wait. However, for Canon full-frame sensors different arrangements apply. Because of the difficulty of cleaning a full-frame sensor, and the amount of time it takes, our workshop only undertake a limited number on a same-day basis, and a booking system operates for these cameras. Please be aware that same-day slots often get booked up 2-3 weeks ahead and call 020 7582 3294 where our service team will book you in.
On the date booked you will need to get the camera to us by 10 am and it will be available to collect from 3.30pm, unless otherwise contacted.
