What is a Full-Spectrum Conversion?
A standard digital camera’s sensor is designed to capture visible light. To achieve this, a hot mirror (IR cut filter) is typically placed in front of the sensor to block infrared and ultraviolet light. Our full-spectrum conversion involves carefully removing this internal filter and replacing it with a clear glass filter, allowing your camera to capture a much wider range of the electromagnetic spectrum.
