Loose grip rubbers on the focus and zoom rings of lenses are a frustrating and common problem. Not only does using the lens become difficult – there is always the possibility of dropping it as you squeeze the ring tight against the barrel to try and gain some traction; we’ve seen it happen!

Fortunately, not only are they cheap to replace, but you can fit them yourselves at home in minutes.
There is no adhesive needed to keep the grips in place but you must ensure the metal surface is clean and free from any debris. A good wipe with some methylated spirit should do the trick.
To purchase grip rubbers, simply contact our admin team on 020 7582 3294 or email email@example.com. The average cost is around £10.00 (excluding VAT) and if you’re not comfortable fitting them yourself, our service department will happily oblige at no extra charge.
NB. It’s a good idea to send a photograph of your lens to us when you order the grip rubbers – it’s surprising how many people ask for a focus ring grip when they mean a zoom ring!
